Managed applications
How Hermes, OpenClaw and 9Router fit into MSO.
Independent tools, one management layer
MSO manages Hermes, OpenClaw and 9Router around their existing runtime interfaces. Each keeps its own configuration, credentials and data.
The public MANEF catalog also lists discovery metadata; a catalog entry alone is not evidence that an app is installed on your host.
Check the backend first
OpenClaw requires a working user systemd bus. Hermes uses user systemd or a reviewed Docker fallback. 9Router uses Docker. If the needed backend is missing, install jobs fail before downloads.
Run doctor, then inspect Managed Apps on your own instance. A Linux guest follows the same checks as Linux; Android PRoot often cannot provide these backends.
mso doctorInstall, start and inspect
Open Managed Apps in MSO. An uninstalled app presents Install; a stopped app presents Start. Details contains lifecycle, logs, updates and backup/restore controls.
Review each installer and its job transcript. Configure providers inside the chosen application; MSO does not silently copy its agent credentials into it.
OpenClaw documentation
For OpenClaw’s own onboarding, channels and agents, use its official documentation. MSO’s guide covers the management boundary and host prerequisites.
