Providers & onboarding

Connect an AI provider, select a model and verify the connection.

Run or resume guided setup

Run onboarding on the owning host. It verifies runtime health and can approve the local CLI device. Enter keys only through its hidden prompts; keep credentials out of commands and chats.

Connect providers, then choose a model

mso models manages connections. mso model selects a model from providers already connected. Arrow keys move through menus, typing filters, Enter selects and Escape cancels.

A free-capable label describes catalog token pricing. Accounts, keys and rate limits can still apply.

Start working with the agent

Bare mso opens the interactive CLI. Agent permission mode defaults to ask. Review write/exec approvals before allowing them.

Add tools deliberately

Hermes, OpenClaw and 9Router have their own runtime, state and credentials. Installing MSO does not automatically connect their accounts.
